I work in the oil industry as an engineering analyst, but I love teaching students about physics and math. I earned a doctorate at Rice University in civil engineering, and during that time I tutored many undergraduates. As a tutor, I focus on helping students learn the fundamental concepts of the topic, and then I concentrate in helping students develop problem-solving skills. When students understand information and they know how to apply knowledge, they can become independent learners.
