I'm also a Cinco Ranch alumni, Class of 2011, and have two younger siblings who are also at Cinco. I will soon by starting Physician Assistant school at UNT in the summer, but until than, I want to serve my community. My passion to serve others through medicine is a big component of my identity. The other part is serving others through education. As a future health care provider, I believe a large part of treating patients is the patient education portion. However, my passion in education doesn't stop at the patient interaction. I worked at the Children's Museum when I lived in College Station as Summer Camp Counselor. There's something just so absolutely rewarding about seeing the camper's face light up when they finally understand a concept or complete an activity we work on. It's the satisfaction of knowing I'm able to serve the youth that encourages me to tutor and educate them. As a Katy-native, I'm not a stranger to the curriculum, and having two younger siblings keeps me up to date on what they're learning today.
