I tutor biology, English, and middle school math and have taught high school students as well. Understanding and patient, I have been improving my tutoring skills by helping my sisters with their elementary school work. Students learn best when interested in the subject. The paradox is they likely don't need tutoring if interested, but I help get people interested in subjects they may not like at first. To do so, I use creative elements like real world examples and visual aids. The idea is to get them curious and to enjoy learning.I attended Millsaps College and Mississippi College and have bachelor's degrees in Biology and English. Also, I have a master's in Biomedical Sciences. I find teaching the most enjoyable, however. I enjoy outdoor activities, swimming, bicycling, painting, and creative writing in my spare time and live in the Katy, Texas area.
