I graduated in 2007 with honors from Abilene Christian University with a Youth and Family Ministry Degree. I recently completed my teaching certificate training through Region 4 Alternative Certification Program.
Experience
I have many years of experience working and teaching children and adolescents through working as a Youth and Family Minister for six years. One of my many goals was to empower and motivate children to succeed in life and I try frequently to bring those skills into the classroom! Last year, I began my teaching journey through working at Mission Bend Christian Academy as a 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teacher for Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies. For the 2014-2015 school year, I have been working in Alief ISD at Outley Elementary as a 3rd grade Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Social Studies teacher. I have enjoyed working in this capacity and continue to thrive on the energy my students bring me everyday. My classroom continues to be a safe, fun, and successful learning environment.
