Hobbies
Tutoring has always been fun for me. I will be available for math/English/science tutoring if anyone is interested. My main preference is reading/writing, and math. I will go up to Algebra (as long as you, or your child has an algebra book, and takes notes during school. There are a few things I need to brush up on there since it has been so long.) I prefer to stay with the lower level math subjects; they are much more fun to teach! In general or in preparation for a test Spelling Writing Reading Math Homework completion Addition Subtraction Multiplication Division Word problems Pre algebra Algebra Participants MUST have notes/book for higher level math (algebra) on their own. There is nothing wrong with needing a little one-to-one help (classes move fast these days); but I do expect anyone in school to be paying attention in class, and making a conscious effort to pass. ABOUT ME I am a 23 year old female college student looking for a second/part time job. I graduated high school with honors (Cum Laude) in 2010. I am currently at Houston Community College. As of now, I am two classes away from graduating with a degree in biology, and transferring to the University of Houston. At the University of Houston I will continue elevating my degree in Biology, then go into nuclear medicine. I am perfectly fine with having a drug and background check. Work History: I currently work as a dispatcher at a pharmacy warehouse. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receiving, making phone calls Microsoft office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel Dispatching files, GPS tracking deliveries Driver scheduling Filing, and properly discarding paperwork Training new drivers on pharmacy policies, laws, and requirements Light cleaning End of shift reports and delivery/ P.O.D analysis I also currently tutor pre-k reading, writing and math in Katy. Prior to my most recent tutoring occupation, I worked as a health caregiver under the Department of Aging and Disability Services for two years. I worked with individuals with physical, mental, intellectual and behavioral disabilities.. I am CPR certified with the American Heart Association until 03/18/2016. Reading, teaching, playing with pets, helping others, shopping online, gardening, and spending time with family members are all things that I enjoy. Pay will be $15.00-$35.00 at an hourly rate that is dependent on the subject level and household income. I am not looking to start a business; I just need extra money for tuition this upcoming semester. I am flexible with pay rates.
